Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reclaiming what’s been buried under pain, stress, or disconnection.
Monique Dean, an adept licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified EMDR therapist based in California, is dedicated to fostering secure environments for individuals to heal and enhance their emotional well-being. Believing in the transformative power of encouragement, validation, collaboration, and support, Monique guides individuals toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
Monique's therapeutic approach blends warmth, interactivity, and acceptance, offering understanding and comfort for clients navigating issues such as relationship challenges, anxiety, and depression. She advocates for everyone's right to a safe space for healing, growth, and flourishing, using evidence-based techniques to overcome obstacles and develop healthier habits.
Central to Monique's philosophy is establishing a supportive and trusting relationship. She ensures clients feel encouraged, validated, heard, and seen throughout their journey. Her integrative methodology combines Psychoanalytic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR, tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Specializing in processing traumatic events—including relational trauma, spiritual trauma, and sexual abuse—Monique addresses various issues and supports work-life balance. She is ready to explore these areas with clients, working collaboratively towards their healing and personal growth.
At the heart of this practice is a commitment to making mental health care more collaborative, inclusive, and accessible. I believe healing should not happen in isolation—and that mental wellness thrives when supported by strong community connections.
I actively partner with colleges, community organizations, and local groups to reduce barriers to care and expand access to culturally responsive services. Whether it’s through workshops, group programs, or shared initiatives, these collaborations help extend support to those who need it most.
While I primarily provide virtual therapy to ensure flexibility and reach across California, in-person sessions are also available in the Inland Empire for those seeking face-to-face care.
Together, we can create a more connected and supported path to mental wellness—for individuals, families, and communities.
